Kostja Prihoda
(Redirected from Kostija Prihoda)
- Born 1971
Biographical Information[edit]
Kostja Prihoda was on the Slovenian national team in their first European Championship, the 1995 European Championship. He debuted against Sweden, replacing Dusan Gaspersic in left and being retired by Magnus Höglund during a no-hitter. His first hit was off Germany's Klaus Knüttel. He had a fine tourney, going 4-for-8 with two walks, two runs and three RBI when his teammates batted a composite .174. Despite a part-time role, he was 4th on the team in hits and second in RBI (three behind Jani Malovic). One downside was his 0-for-2 in steal attempts. He had five putouts in five chances. [1] He was 0 for 2 in the 1999 European Championship. [2] He was with Kranjski Lisjaki for the 2001 European Cup. [3]
