Korea Professional Baseball Players Association

The Korea Professional Baseball Players Association was formed in 2000, the third attempt to organize the players in the Korea Baseball Organization. Key figures in the formation were Hae-yong Ma, Jin-woo Song, Joon-hyuk Yang and Jong-tae Park. In 2009, under President Min-han Son, the KPBPA voted to become a union.
