The Korea Baseball Futures League is the minor league in South Korea. The Korea Baseball Organization teams have one farm team each in the league and there are also a couple teams not affiliated with any of the KBO clubs, including a team representing the Korean military (the Sangmu Phoenix). Players can appear on that team in lieu of regular mandatory military service.
