Biographical Information

Koji Kanemitsu was an infielder who represented Japan in the 1979 Intercontinental Cup. He played for Mitsubishi Hiroshima in the Industrial League after college. The Kintetsu Buffaloes drafted him in the first round of the 1977 NPB draft, but he refused to sign. Kanamitsu then coached the Hiroshima Commercial High School from 1989 to 1995, then coached the Hosei University from 2003 to 2013.
