Biographical Information[edit]
Kohzo Utsumi was the President of the Meiji University baseball team from 1910 to 1929. At a time when baseball's influence was being debated, Utsumi was one of the sport's most vocal defenders. He was also very influential in the creation of the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League.
Utsumi was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973.
