Biographical Information

Pitcher Kohl Stewart was selected by the Minnesota Twins and scout Greg Runser in the first round of the 2013 amateur draft with the fourth overall pick. He soon signed for a bonus of more than $4.5 million and made his pro debut for the GCL Twins on July 4th.

He reached the majors with the Twins on August 12, 2018 as the starting pitcher against the Detroit Tigers. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits in 4 1/3 innings and was charged with a 4-2 loss.
