Knuckle Balls

Written by Phil Niekro and Tom Bird in 1986, Knuckle Balls follows Niekro's 1985 season with the New York Yankees on his way to his 300th win. It bears the rather long subtitle: "An astonishing inside look at 300-Game winner Phil Niekro including the two most interesting owners in baseball - Turner & Steinbrenner".
