Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Kiyohiko Shide played for Hankyu (1936) and Nagoya (1937) of Nippon Professional Baseball. In the fall 1936 season, he hit .129/.206/.129 in 31 at-bats and in the spring of 1937, he batted .238/.321/.287 with 29 hits in 122 at-bats. He was 0 for 3 in the fall 1937 season. Overall, he hit .212/.293/.250 in 156 at-bats. He coached at Oita Shogyo High School after his pro career ended.
