Kim McMillan played for Australia in the 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup. She began playing baseball at age 3. Her brother Ryan McMillan played for the Australian youth national team in 2003 and played college baseball in the USA in 2008. Her sisters Tammy McMillan and Claire O'Sullivan joined her on the Australian team in 2016.
