Biographical Information[edit]
Kid Camp pitched seven games in the majors between 1892 and 1894, dying at 25 or 26 before the 1895 season. He is the brother of Lew Camp. In 1890, Kid went 12-9 for the Seattle team, and followed in 1891 with a 31-20 record. In 1892, in a partial season, he was 9-4. Each year, he was one of the youngest players on the team. A teammate was the young Bill Lange, who after 1891-1892 in the minors would go on to success in the majors and be a teammate of both Kid and Lew with the 1894 Chicago Colts.
