Kevin Smallcomb
Kevin Smallcomb has been a college coach for over 20 years.
Smallcomb was an infielder at Sacramento State, stealing 40 bases in a year once. He began his coaching career as an assistant at American River College from 1985-1989. While earning his master's degree, he was a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas in 1989-1990. He became an assistant coach with Mendocino Junior College in 1991, then was their head coach from 1992-2002. He went 250-147 there and was named Coach of the Year in his conference in 1996.
Smallcomb became the head coach of the University of Northern Colorado in 2002; after six years at the helm, he was 122-143. He was replaced after the 2010 season.
