Kevin Peeters
Kevin Peeters played eight seasons in Belgium's First Division.
He debuted with the Antwerp Royal Greys in 1993, going 1 for 5, then hit .422 in 45 at-bats in 1994. He fell to .279/.368/.353 in '95. Joining the Hoboken Pioneers, he hit .264/.398/.356 in 1996. The catcher had his best seasons in 1997 and 1998, hitting .352/.487/.484 the first year and .356/.500/.508 the next year. In '99, he batted .316/.441/.487. He was 0 for 1 as a pinch-hitter for the Belgian national team in the 1999 European Championship. Returning to the Greys, he wrapped up in 2000 by hitting .255/291/.373. He coached for Belgium in the 2010 European Championship and 2011 European Championship Qualifiers.
