Biographical Information

Kevin McAvoy was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 4th round of the 2014 Amateur Draft from Bryant University. He played in the Red Sox minor league system from 2014-2018, spending most of his time pitching in High-A and AA. Overall, McAvoy had a 26-37 record with a 4.81 ERA. He finished his playing career in 2019 with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League.

McAvoy joined the Atlanta Braves organization in 2020 as a Rehab Pitching Coach and stayed in that role through 2023.
