In 2007, the team moved and became the Tigres de Quintana Roo but he fell to .213/.274/.291 while being their most-used third baseman. That winter, he was 5 for 25 with a walk for the Yaquis de Obregón. He hit .191/.248/.238 for the '08 Tigres as a backup infielder and .275/.342/.362 in a similar role the next year. Still only 25 years old, he hit .294/.360/.373 for Quintana Roo in 2010. He made his first winter appearance in three years, batting .244/.301/.314 for the Yaquis, serving as a utility infielder.

He was only 5 for 43 that winter for the Yaquis, posting a 253 OPS. He bounced back in the summer of 2014 to .295/.356/.374 and fielding .981 at short.

He was Mexico's main second baseman in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, going 1 for 11 with a BB and a HBP. He fielded .945 at second and had an assist in his lone chance at third base. [3] Moving to the Leones de Yucatán after his long run with the Tigres, he hit .271/.322/.384 in 2015, fielding .978 at short. He had another rough winter for the Yaquis (5 for 36, 2 BB, 364 OPS).
