Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Kevin Connacher played in the minor leagues from 1997 to 2003. He was taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 11th round of the 1997 amateur draft.

Connacher showed speed and pop, four times posting 10-10 seasons - seasons in which he had at least 10 steals and 10 home runs. In 2001, with the independent Chillicothe Paints, he had career highs in both categories, with 29 swipes and 16 dingers. He stole 25 or more bases three other times in his career. He reached Triple A for the first and only time in 2003, hitting .221/.294/.324 in 61 games for the Minnesota Twins-affiliated Rochester Red Wings.
