Kevin Carpenter

Kevin Carpenter was the amiable and popular General Manager for the Charleston Rainbows of the South Atlantic League from 1988 through 1992. His hard work ethic and marketing skills helped draw respectable crowds despite the teams' lack of success on the playing field through much of his tenure. A native of Louisville, KY and the son of a minister, he had previously worked as an executive with the Greensboro Hornets baseball team.
