Biographical Information[edit]

Kevin Cameron made his major league debut for the San Diego Padres on April 5, 2007 with 2 innings of scoreless relief. In a fierce 69 game career split between San Diego and Oakland, he was 2-0 with a 3.02 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 86 1/3 innings. At one time, Cameron held the record for most career appearances without allowing a home run. He gave up his first (and only) major league home run on May 30, 2009, in his 68th and penultimate career appearance, to Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers.
