Biographical Information

Pitcher Kevin Beirne played three seasons with three teams, then headed to NPB for parts of four more. He also played college football at Texas A&M, where he was a wide receiver, and is the son of former AFL All-Star Jim Beirne, who played with the Houston Oilers and San Diego Chargers of the AFL and NFL from 1968 to 1976.
