Biographical Information

Kerry Rainey pitched for Eastern Air when they served as Team USA for the 1942 Amateur World Series. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army then signed with the New York Giants. He was with the 1946 Manchester Giants and Danville Leafs (5-12, 6.30). He tied for 7th in the Carolina League in losses. He put up similar numbers (3-4, 6.27) at Danville in 1947.
