Biographical Information[edit]

Kenneth Sips debuted in Belgium's First Division in 2010 with the Antwerp Royal Greys, going 1 for 5. He went 1 for 4 in 2011. In the 2011 European Junior Championship, he hit .286/.444/.429 as a starting outfielder for Belgium. In 2012, he went 0 for 8 with a walk, run and six whiffs for the Greys while pitching in relief (1-0, 7.06, 17 BB in 21 2/3 IP) on occasion. Despite his unimpressive First Division stats, he made the Belgian national team for the 2012 European Championship and allowed one hit and one walk in 3 2/3 shutout innings while fanning one. Relieving Ben Van Nuffel in the 9th/10th place game against Croatia, he retired all seven batters he faced to save a 3-2 win.
