Biographical Information

Kengo Yoshida has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yoshida was drafted by the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks in the 6th round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Akira Matsumoto. He hit .310/.330/.471 in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he was 0-for-1 with the big club. Had he qualified, he would've led the Western League in average, but he had under 100 plate appearances. He crushed 3 homers with a .303/.357/.394 batting line in 2024, but he went 5-for-26 with the big club. The Nippon Ham Fighters selected him in the 2024 NPB Active draft. Yoshida crushed his first career home run against Koya Fujii on April 2, 2025.
