Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Ken Warner played in the Atlanta Braves system from 1992 to 1995, peaking at High A. In 1996, he played for the independent Meridian Brakemen of the Big South League. Overall, he slashed .224/.310/.288 with 3 home runs, 68 RBI and 29 stolen bases over five seasons. The Braves drafted him in the 7th round of the 1992 amateur draft, a few picks after catcher Joe DePastino and a few ahead of pitcher Dennis Konuszewski. He began his professional career at 17 years old.
