Biographical Information[edit]
Ken Rogers pitched six seasons in the minor leagues, from 1946 to 1951.
The hurler won 10 or more games three times. In 1947, he was 18-6 with a 3.78 ERA in 32 games (24 starts) for the Amsterdam Rugmakers. Between the Flint Arrows and Birmingham Barons in 1948, he went 10-4 in 20 appearances and in 1949, he was 15-11 with a 3.05 ERA in 35 games for the Vicksburg Billies. Between those three campaigns, he was 43-21, a .671 winning percentage. Overall, he was 63-37 (.630 winning percentage) in 162 games over six seasons.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
