Biographical Information

Ken Germano played in Italy then became a college coach.

Germano hit .285/.327/.404 for the 1974 Black Panthers Ronchi, fielding .863 at his main position (3B). In 1975, he hit .304/.413/.358 with 32 runs in 40 games for Nettuno while fielding .883 at the hot corner. He was on the Italian national team that won the 1975 European Championship; Ken was 2 for 6 with 2 runs, a steal and two assists while backing up Gianfranco Vandi at 3B. He later coached baseball (13-38-1 in 1979-1980) and soccer for Hofstra University then spent decades working in fitness and exercise.
