Biographical Information[edit]

Shortstop Keith Molesworth played in the minor leagues from 1929 to 1937 and managed the Columbia Reds in 1946 (79-61, 2nd place). In 1930 with the Waco Cubs, he hit 20 home runs in 564 at-bats. Then, over the next three years and 1,592 at-bats, he didn't hit a single home run. He reached AA, then the highest level of the minors, in 1934 and spent his last four years there, hitting .313 for the Oakland Oaks of the 1935 PCL.

He was also a halfback and quarterback for the National Football League's Chicago Bears from 1931 to 1937.
