Biographical Information

Keigo Imai pitched in the NPB and CPBL.

Imai was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 2nd round of the 1996 NPB draft, and he went 1-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 1997. However, that was his only season to be productive for the Fighters, and he only pitched 8 games combined with the big club in the next five seasons. The Fighters released him in 2002, and he signed with the Brother Elephants of Taiwan. Imai was 0-2 with a 2.40 ERA in 2003, then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Imai was 1-4 with a 4.50 ERA, struck out 35 and pitched 80 innings in 3 years in NPB.
