Biographical Information[edit]
Kazuo Sayama is a member of the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
Sayama is a noted historian and researcher of Japanese-American baseball connections. He is the author of a book on the Negro League tours of Japan and biographies on the first Japanese-American baseball player and Satchel Paige. A member of the Society for American Baseball Research, he was elected in the 2021 Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame Election.
