Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Kazuhito Yoshimura played briefly in Nippon Pro Baseball. He was a 5th-round pick by the Kintetsu Buffaloes in the 1993 NPB draft. He went 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 K in 5 games for Kintetsu in 1996. In 1998, he led Japan's Western League in RBI. He was traded with Shigeki Sano and Hideo Koike to the Chunichi Dragons for Kotaro Azuse, Ken Kadokura and Takuichi Furuike after 1999. He hit .250/.308/.500 with 3 runs and 2 RBI in 12 AB in 2001. In 2003, he was 2 for 5 with a walk and a double. He finished his NPB career in 2004, going 5 for 20 with 2 doubles. Overall, he hit .250/.302/.400 in 45 plate appearances in NPB.
