Biographical Information[edit]
Kazuaki Nako has been an umpire in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Nako signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1988 , but he never reached the big club before he announced his retirement in 1995. He became an umpire in the Central League in 1998. He worked the 2008 NPB All-Star Games, 2014 Japan Series, 2016 NPB All-Star Games, 2019 Japan Series, 2017 Asia Professional Baseball Championship, 2024 NPB All-Star Games and 2024 Japan Series.
