Biographical Information[edit]
Kam-Tao Ip has played for the Hong Kong national team. He was in the 2008 Asian Youth Championship. Making it to the senior team, he got into one game in the 2010 Asian Games, going 1 for 2 while manning center field against South Korea; it was one of 3 hits for Hong Kong that day. In the 2010 Intercontinental Cup, he was 2 for 14 as Hong Kong's main right fielder, while playing error-free ball. Both hits were triples and both came in their closest game, a 6-5 loss to Thailand. He tripled home Wai-Hang Leung against Meeboonrod Nattapong in the second then tied the game in the 8th at 5-5 with a three-bagger off Kamolphan Kanjanavisut. He also pitched 1/3 of an inning against Nicaragua, walking one.
