Biographical Information

K.C. Hobson is the grandson of Clell Hobson Sr. and the son of Butch Hobson. Despite a commitment to Texas A&M, K.C. was picked by the Toronto Blue Jays in the sixth round of the 2009 amateur draft. He was signed in mid-August by scout Tim Rooney for $500,000. He debuted for the GCL Blue Jays on June 21, 2010, going 2 for 4 with a RBI.
