Biographical Information[edit]
Justin Johnson has been a college coach.
He was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 43rd round of the 1995 amateur draft as a high school catcher but did not sign. After college, he was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as an undrafted free agent but did not make it into a minor league game. He then coached at Valley View High School, Cal Tech (2012-2013?), Saint Katherine College (2014, head coach) and UC Riverside (2015-2020), becoming UC Riverside's head coach in 2021, succeeding Troy Percival.
