Biographical Information[edit]
Jeong-uk Heo pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization for 3 years.
Heo played for the South Korean national team in the 1986 Amateur World Series. The Pacific Dolphins selected him in the first round of the 1989 KBO draft, and he had a 1.04 ERA in 5 games in his first season. Heo was 7-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 1990, but he slumped to 2-9 with a 5.69 ERA in 1991. Heo was released after the 1991 season, and he became a scout for the SK Wyverns and SSG Landers.
Overall, Heo was 10-12 with a 4.24 ERA, struck out 71 and pitched 136 innings in 3 seasons in the KBO.
