Biographical Information[edit]

Jung-Hung Sen played in the CPBL. His uncle Chih-Hao Chang also played in the CPBL.

Sen represented Taiwan in the 2012 World Junior Championship, going 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA. He beat Colombia's Edgardo Hernandez and the Czech Republic's Lukáš Ercoli as his team finished third. He tied for second in the event in wins (one behind Jen-Ho Tseng) and he was 6th in IP. The Lamigo Monkeys selected him in the 4th round of the 2016 CPBL Draft. He refused to sign, and he pitched for amateur teams for 3 years. Sen also pitched for Taiwan in the 2016 Haarlem Baseball Week and 2016 U-23 Baseball World Cup (pitching a scoreless inning). The Wei Chuan Dragons took him in the 6th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and Sen had a 3.42 ERA in the minors in 2020.

The Taitung native underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021, and he missed the next two seasons. Sen had a solid 1.72 ERA in 35 appearances in 2023, and he led the minors with 10 holds. He debuted against the Uni-President Lions on May 5, 2023, and he got his first strikeout against Cheng-Fei Lin on May 12.

Sen’s repertoire includes a fastball (peak 93.8 mph) and slider.
