Biographical Information[edit]
Julien Lépine played in the independent leagues and for the Canadian national team.
Lépine hit .302/.401/.345 for the 1999 Les Capitales de Québec, fielding .976 at 3B and .932 at SS. He was with Canada when they won Bronze in the 1999 Pan American Games, going 0 for 1 and scoring a run while backing up Lee Delfino at SS. Canada won its first baseball medal ever at a Pan American Games. In 2000, he slumped to .184/.205/.237, a .884 fielding percentage at SS and 14 games for Les Capitales; he also pitched two innings, allowing one run. He missed 2001. In 2002, he hit .386/.400/.474 with 12 runs in 14 games for Les Capitales, fielding .966 at 2B. He had hit over .300 for his pro career.
