Biographical Information

Jud McLaughlin was at Boston College in 1930 and 1931 and then was with the Boston Red Sox in 16 games from 1931 to 1933, without having a decision. In each of those three years, he was among the youngest players in the American League.

He was one of several youngsters who came out of Boston College to the majors at the time.

In 1934 a "Justin McLaughlin" appeared for Reading in the New York-Pennsylvania League.
