Biographical Information

Designated hitter/first baseman Juan Thomas was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 10th round of the 1991 Amateur Draft. In his 14 minor league seasons, he hit .272/.340/.498 with 291 home runs. He was a minor league All-Star in 1996 and 2000 and an independent league All-Star in 1998 and 2003. He played independent ball in 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004, and 2005.
