Juan Miguel Gordo Romero

Juan Miguel Gordo has played and managed in Cuba.

Gordo was a third baseman for Las Tunas. He led the 1998-1999 Cuban Serie Nacional with 17 sacrifice hits. Overall, he batted .266/.316/.320 in 12 seasons, with just 8 home runs. He fielded .957. In 2011-2012, he became manager of Las Tunas, replacing Pablo Alberto Civil. He was 54-41 for a second-place regular-season finish his first year but fell to 23-22 in 2012-2013 and was not retained.
