Outfielder Juan Carlos Urbina hit 17 home runs in the Nicaraguan league in 2010, tying the record held by Justo Rivas and Esteban Ramirez in the wood bat era. He was named league MVP and was put on Nicaragua's roster for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games; he also helped them win Silver at the 2010 Central American Games.
