Biographical information[edit]

After being released by the Minnesota Twins in 2007, Josh Rabe tried to extend his baseball career in 2008 with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League. Although he hit .361 with 6 home runs and 30 runs batted in, back injuries forced him to retire.

In August 2008, Rabe was hired as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's College (IN), spending two years in that role. He then became head coach at his alma mater, Quincy University, in 2011. He was 348-205 in 11 years in that role then became the school's athletic director.
