Biographical Information

Josh Butler was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft. He was signed by scout Dan Drake and began his career that summer. On April 22, 2008, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers for Gabe Gross. With Milwaukee, he made his three big league appearances in 2009, pitching 4 innings, walking 6 men and striking out 3 to a 9.00 ERA.
