Josef Svoboda was 3 for 22 with a double for the Czech national team in the 1999 European Championship, starting at third base. He presumably is this J. Svoboda as no other players would seem to match from Extraliga records of that era. It is possible, but unlikely, that he did not play in the Extraliga.
