Biographical Information[edit]
Jose Tolentino became manager of the Mexican national team for the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament when the Colorado Rockies forbid Vinny Castilla from taking the job. He coached for Castilla and Mexico in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
His son Milan Tolentino was a 4th round choice in the 2020 amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians.
