José María Pinzón
José María Pinzón was the second batter in the history of the Panamanian national team. In the team's opener in the 1930 Central American Games, he batted second and played right field, going 2 for 5 with a double, steal and 4 runs in a win over El Salvador. He did not score in the next four games and finished at .250 with 3 steals and a .350 slugging percentage for the Bronze Medalists. He had 2 putouts, 4 assists and no errors at third base and two putouts in two chances in the outfield.
He also played for Panama in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games, winning a Silver this time.
