José Cardillo
José Cardillo was the first shortstop in the history of the Guatemalan national team. In their first game, the opener of the 1930 Central American Games, he hit 3rd and went 0 for 4 against Cuba while having two putouts, one assist and one error. He finished the tournament 1 for 15 while fielding .782 with five errors in four games. His lone hit came against El Salvador.
