Jorge Jhonson is an outfielder with Las Tunas.

Jhonson hit .355/.452/.560 in 2007-2008, his third season. He had the best OPS on a Las Tunas outfield which included Henry Urrutia, Yordanis Scull and Andrés Quiala. Jorge had hit .313 through that year.

In 2008-2009, the left-hander batted .289/.367/.340 in an off-year and a bench role. Moving back into the starting lineup in 2009-2010, he rebounded to hit .365/.417/.474 with 59 runs in 81 games as Scull moved to the bench. Jhonson fielded .991 as a corner outfielder and won a Gold Glove. He tied for 5th in the league with five triples and was 7th in average (between Alexei Bell and Yulieski Gourriel).
