Jorge Garcia (Spain)
- Throws Right
Jorge Garcia pitched for the Spanish national team that won the Bronze Medal in the 1987 European Championship. In the 1988 Baseball World Cup, the first Baseball World Cup for Spain, he had an opdd set of statistics. His four games pitched tied for the team lead but his three innings pitched were second-lowest on the staff, numbers more typical for a LOOGY than a right-hander. He was hit hard, giving up 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 6 walks, 3 hit batsmen and 17 runs (16 earned) to post the highest ERA on the staff; he struck out one.
