Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Jun-suk Choi has played several years in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Choi debuted in the KBO in 2002 with the Lotte Giants, going 1 for 3. He was 4 for 19 with a walk and 2 homers in 2004. In 2005, he hit .246/.312/.361 in 100 games. He was then traded to the Doosan Bears for former minor leaguer Ray Choi. In 2006, he hit .251/.329/.390 with 11 homers and 47 RBI in 315 AB. He batted .244/.330/.430 with 16 home runs and 75 RBI in 2007. He struggled in 2008, hitting .225/.318/.361 in 67 games in a reduced role. In game one of the 2008 Korean Series, he hit a key pinch-hit 2-run double off Kwang-hyun Kim to give Doosan the lead but they would drop the next four games and the Series.
