Biographical Information

Pitcher Jonnie Gendron was taken in the 38th round of the 1992 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of outfielder Gary Matthews, Jr.. He played one season in their system, 1994, going 2-8 with a 5.07 ERA in 15 games (11 starts).

He was, at one point, the top high school pitcher in Oklahoma.
