Biographical Information[edit]
Johnny Siegle hit well in 1905 in the majors but broke an ankle during spring training in 1906 that contributed to his drop in performance. He also played 14 seasons in the minors, of which four were with the Ilion Typewriters.
He is the only big league player, through 2019, with the last name Siegle, although there was a Fred Siegel and several players named Slagle.
